It is extremely important to address the situation immediately to avoid any secondary damage which could result in mold growth. We offer 24 hour emergency water mitigation and complete structural drying 365 days a year. We arrive prepared to handle any water damage situation no matter how big or small. Veteran Ed's uses the most current technology and techniques to dry the structure to a pre-loss condition. Our certified technicians will monitor the structure daily to ensure thorough drying. In addition, we take the necessary steps to help prevent further damage, thereby working to keep your loss to a minimum. We also work directly with your insurance company.

Water damage can occur from flooding, burst pipes, leakage or accidental spills. According to the National Flood Insurance Program, as little as an inch of water can cause expensive damage to property. Flooding occurs in all 50 states and causes water damage, but most homeowner's insurance policies don't cover the cost of flood-related water damage repairs.

Effects

• The first 24 to 48 hours after water damage occurs are vital, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This is the stage in which rapid response should occur to prevent mold from forming. When working with water-damaged materials, always wear protective gloves; if mold is present, wear a respirator.
